VTuber Musical Theme Creation
Hello! I have a group of friends who are interested in live-streaming. I came up with an idea to create theme songs for their characters that would fit different situations. I will be documenting the process of developing the concepts, making changes, and creating different versions of each character's theme.

Walking in the Dusk
New to This Strange New World
Soapy Ame originates from a world of adventurers, where daily activities include looting and dungeon crawling. She hides a dark secret: a deal with a demon that she fears will scare others away. The pact is minor, but failing to fulfill it could have grave consequences; she only needs to commit a misdeed to ensure her wellbeing.
STARTING CONCEPT
Walking In The Dusk (Intro Theme)
I began by considering whether my composition should be a song or a musical piece. After some thought, I decided that it would work well as a song. I imagined an upbeat and cheerful melody paired with a more somber and melancholic set of lyrics.
I used ChatGPT to smooth out my lyrics and to enhance the bittersweet feeling to them, and after some thinking, I landed on the following:
Step by step and side by side, we're walking in the dusk,
Lost in the beauty, the whispers of the wind, the secrets we can't share.
(As we are walking --)
Step by step and side by side, the starlight shines so bright,
and as our laughter fills the air, as we are walking, maybe I'll be just fine.
STARTING CONCEPT
New to This Strange New World (Outro Theme)
I began by exploring how to develop my second composition, similar to my first. I decided to draw inspiration from the character's backstory, weaving elements of their experiences and emotions into the piece.g on the essence of their journe After reflectiny, I envisioned a melody that captured both their struggles and triumphs, infusing a mix of hope and nostalgia into the lyrics. With this in mind, I set out to craft a song that resonates with the depth of their story.
Wandering through the expanses,
My mind filled with thoughts,
Secrets that must stay hidden.
New to this world we explore,
Journey with my friends,
But deep down I cry out.
I can not breath, my lies and deceit,
My heartache, emotions that can’t be revealed.
I wondering if there's a way out
